Reaction Tube Formats

The Rotor-Gene 6000 supports four different reaction tube formats to suit different needs and personal preferences. Each format is described below. Changing formats is a simple click-in, click-out change of the metal rotor that holds the tubes. Before starting a run, the software prompts you to identify the tube format and the reaction volume. The rest is automatic, making format change on the Rotor-Gene the simplest of any real-time system.

All formats can be automated using the CAS-1200 personal robotic PCR setup workstation.
